Mama, Sing My Song // Book Review

There's a new book in town and she's, oh, so pretty, and oh, so meaningful!! Mama, Sing My Song, by Amanda Seibert, is a beautiful gift directly from her heart to children everywhere!

If you're not familiar with Mama Sing My Song as an organization, allow me to first explain about the company! Started by Seibert herself, the company creates and records CUSTOM songs for children. If you're a music-lover, this is one of the most special gifts you could possibly gift someone close to you. For Christmas last year, our family received scholarships for our daughters, adopted from Foster Care, to receive this over-the-top precious gift, and we purchased two more custom songs to give to our two biological daughters. Isabel, 10, received a Sloth containing her song. Cecily, 8, received a giraffe. Ruby, 7, received a Lamb. Josephine, 6, received a Kitty-Cat, and Aivy, 3, received a Bear. The process was simple - I filled out a quick form containing snippets of information about each child, selected the song's musical style that I was drawn to for each child, and Seibert and her team did the rest to create custom music! The girls listen to their songs on repeat and each one is completely personal and special containing characteristics and personality traits of the girls that are totally unique.

Since adoption and foster care are a huge part of my heart and our story, I will mention that I hope someday Seibert will also release a more inclusive version of the book with a _______, Sing My Song option so that other relative caregivers (like Dad's and Aunt's and Grandparents) could also take advantage of the gift that is Mama, Sing My Song.
